Bachelorette Bash!

It seems like so long ago. It seems like just yesterday. We are talking about the most epic girls' night. Ever.

First let me preface that this was not your stereotypical bachelorette party. If you are in search of strippers, drunken pictures, and penis shaped...well everything, go no further. Some might call us boring but that "some" hasn't stepped down off of their high horse to have fun with us. Because we are a gee-dee blast!

Let me tell ya a short story about my MOH.

This young lady throws one helluva party. The girls all came over to my house where we munched on sausage balls and lil' smokies (hey if we weren't going to wear genitalia...might as well eat food shaped like genitalia), and sipped pink pantie dropper punch (well those of us who weren't driving). After I opened a few interesting gifts from my dearest girlfriends....

 It's AMAZING what you can get your friends to do when you're a bride, without them thinking you're a right old bloody wanker. Mua ha ha ha ha (evil laughter for those of you who don't speak Disney).

Then we played a delightfully devilish game of "Stick a Kiss on the Hunk." Some were close to his lips....some were not ;)

After the fun and games were over...we scurried on over to our 9 o'clock reservation at the Melting Pot. Many of us were first timers and were not quite aware how fancy a fondue place could be. It was the most delicious melted chocolate I think I've ever enjoyed. We scraped two large pots of chocolate clean. Mmmm. We did get some funny stares when this came through the door:

One particularly stodgy young waiter actually huffed in distaste. Loser. We had two servers that evening, both young ladies who did their job amazingly. The things they can do with chocolate is a form of art.

 One of them was a total snatch and the other one was so super sweet. The best part about our evening at the Melting Pot? Free champagne! Courtesy of the manager, I'm sure to snatch and stodgy's utmost disgust.The champagne and mounds of chocolate did not bode well for my friend C however. She had to bounce after we left instead of following us on over to Main Event.

At Main Event we bowled, considered rock climbing, and committed unusual acts of debauchery. MOH had set up a special "guest book" and it was my task to get strangers to sign it. This was no department store guest book though, my dear sweet innocent friend gifted me with a Kama Sutra book to have people sign their favorite umm...page. I was pretty shocked but we ended up having a lot of fun and meeting some nice people that night. We made pretty good friends with management and they even brought me a free shot of...well I don't know but it tasted good!

Then some Jersey Shore reject would not stop hitting on my friends...buuuut I got another free shot out of him too. Ya take the good with the bad, I always say.

A HUMONGOUS thanks to MOH for going with me to the bar with this creep. He coulda roofied my ass and I would've never known it in my "yay free booze" state of mind.

After bowling our butts off and making friends with the Main Event staff, MOH, BM J, and I all headed back to my house for a homemade yogurt bar. From what I remember, it was quite tasty. I was also dumbfounded by MOH's way of cutting strawberries. Pure genius. Even when you're not drunk!

I leave you with the one group shot we got of the evening. Thanks to my lovely friends for making this a night to remember. I am truly blessed to have such sweet ladies in my life.
